Based on a True Story
Before he was a storybook hero, Chief was a senior rescue in a shelter kennel — a big, fluffy Gerberian Shepsky (that's German Shepherd + Siberian Husky) that folks kept passing by.
Today he lives free on a real Texas homestead with his family, George & Brenda — the "B&G Krajewski" on every cover. He starts each morning with a munchy bone on the front porch, patrols the fence line, keeps the squirrels honest, and teaches his people something new about faith, loyalty, and love pretty much daily.
Every adventure in the Homestead Series begins with the real thing.
The Official Theme Song
Brave, loyal, gentle, and always ready to help. Chief's official theme song is a joyful sing-along about friendship, courage, and the bond between kids and the dogs who love them.
Turn it up and howl along! 🐾
Tap a video and sing along. There's more coming — Chief's got a lot to say.
Young Chief learns from his German Shepherd dad what it means to watch over your people, work hard, and protect the homestead. A father-and-son lesson in loyalty and family.
Big paws. Big heart. Big furry neck. Chief and the Pack go prehistoric in a silly, high-energy sing-along built for stomping, chomping, and roaring right along.
Straw hats, muddy boots, square dancing, and porch-swing goofiness. Chief and Brendie trade adventuring for barnyard silliness and a whole lot of laughing.
For the grown-ups too
Straight from George's porch notebook — little lessons Chief teaches without saying a word. A devotional podcast & video series is on its way to this very page.
Distractions come tearing out of nowhere. Stay inside the boundary lines that were drawn in love — they're there to keep you safe, not fenced in.
When the storm hits and you can't see the road ahead, use what God gave you. He already equipped you to find the way home.
Chief always runs ahead to clear the path — then stops and waits until you catch up. Go first if you must. But always wait.
You can be in a cage one day and running free the next. Don't let the world label you "just an old dog." God created you for greatness.
