Before he was a storybook hero, Chief was a senior rescue in a shelter kennel — a big, fluffy Gerberian Shepsky (that's German Shepherd + Siberian Husky) that folks kept passing by.
Today he lives free on a real Texas homestead with his family, George & Brenda — the "B&G Krajewski" on every cover. He starts each morning with a munchy bone on the front porch, patrols the fence line, keeps the squirrels honest, and teaches his people something new about faith, loyalty, and love pretty much daily.
